With over 35 years of manufacturing experience, the last twenty-five aligned to Lean methodology.

A Chartered Engineer and member of the Institute of Consulting with over 17 years in consulting and interim management, now a Director of his own operational excellence consultancy and Interim Management, bringing skills gained from several market sectors.  

I have a strong automotive background, which makes me very results driven, bringing my own blend of business clarity and challenges to improve operating performance in any sector. I enjoy the demands and challenges of interim management and in particular working with like-minded people.

Engagement with people at any level in the business is key to my success, along with clear and concise communications to help engage and provide direction.

I am a great believer in developing a plan for improvement, which is then agreed and adhered to by the management team. I have the ability to be quick thinking and adaptive in my approach to the key issues of the day.

My Lean skills come from time spent at Toyota, whilst working with a Japanese sensei, then moving into Lean / Business Improvement consulting to help improve business performance and transfer “Lean” knowledge to clients, as well focusing on business growth and investment strategies whilst supporting interim roles.

I focus on identifying true “value-add” activities and areas of the business, which are devoid of operational “best practice”. All performance measures are normally aligned to SQCDP.

I regard myself as a professional and proficient person, being very approachable and trustworthy who is committed to achieving successful outcomes with a proven track record, whilst building a good client rapport.
